Left Pfeiffer Big Sur (next time Jake wants to stay for 100 sleeps, Mark for 5) todays destination: Sunset State Beach
Before leaving Neil took the boys for a walk while I got things ready to go.
We stopped by Carmel River State Beach (same as last year). Waves were too big to go in the water, but Mark couldn't silence the Oceans calling and got too close. Long story short, Daddy played Lifeguard and saved Mark, and his shovel, we just couldn't save the shoe that came off in the wave. YEAH Daddy!!!
Drove on to Moss Landing (where we stayed last year) and go food at Phils Fish Market then across to Salinas State Beach to fly kites.
Drove to the campground, got in about 6:30. I made dinner while Neil took the boys for a walk to the beach (not an easy walk) where they collected Sand Dollars. My cousin Greg and his girlfriend met us for dinner and we all ate in the cozy RV.
Jake and Daddy went out to see the Bixby Bridge on Hwy 1
